Money raised through the 2014 Reunion donated to Clatterbridge Cancer Charity

On 15th April 2014 David Robinson and Alan Swift attended Clatterbridge Cancer Hospital to hand over a cheque for £1350.00 raised from the 2014 Reunion. We enjoyed our visit and were made very welcome by Rachel Donohoe the charity organiser (pictured with Alan). The cheque was presented to Dr. Malik for the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

THE BIG REUNION - 15TH MARCH 2014.

The Big Reunion, 15th March 2014 seemed to be a success, I have had only good comments so far.

I would like to thank everyone who attended for contributing to a great night.

I would especially like to thank my co-organiser Alan Swift for his hard work both leading up to the reunion and on the night. Also thanks to John Foster for doing the music on the night.

I would not have been able to enjoy the night so much, if it hadn't been for the helpers so a big thanks also to Dave Carter, John Blackledge, Clive Pitts, and Les Alker. Also thanks to Pete Normanton for being our photographer for the night.

Thanks to the teachers who attended, it was especially nice to see our old woodwork teacher Harold Lea, I'm just glad he wasn't handing out punishments with a length of wooden dowling like he used to.

Finally I would like to thank Brian Ellis, our old headmaster, who unfortunately couldn't attend this time but did such a wonderful job of creating a great school that we are all proud to be associated with.

Once I realised people were enjoying the evening I was able to relax and enjoy it myself. I especially enjoyed being reunited with my dear friend Gillian Miles (Darbyshire) who I also went to primary school with and have known since I was 5yrs old. (quite a few years ago)
